Card Making
Got a bunch of new stamp sets and got busy! Doesn't this remind you of falling leaves? The stamp set is from CTMH and the paper is Making Memories. This paper pack is one of my favorites! The colors and prints are fabulous. It comes with cardstock and patterned paper which is unusual. I stamped the leaves on the sand colored cardstock from the pack using different inks. The leaves were easy to cut out. Quick card and I loved how it turned out!
And a quick shout out to Karen, Jean and Catharine - my scrapbooking buddies at Archivers! We had a fabulous time yesterday scrapping while the rain poured down outside! Scrappy checks we are!

October 3 Workshop Overview and Pictures
October 3 Workshop - We will be working on two projects: (1) Altered acrylic and chipboard album; and (2) Halloween cube or mini album. The altered album is an intermediate/advanced project. We will be working with Tattered Angels spray, masks, and paint. The second project is a fun Halloween project. For the cube, I came across a Sizzix Halloween set that is really cute and super simple to use. Added some awesome Stickles and bam!! Super cute way to display a couple of Halloween pictures. Have this out at Thanksgiving for everyone to admire!!!
The workshop cost is $37.00. This includes all supplies and lunch. Now taking your paid reservations thru September 23.

End of a long week....
This has been a long week and I'm really glad Friday is here. There never seems to be enough hours in the day to accomplish everything you want to do! We've had friends to lose close family members. My task for the week - Sympathy cards. Tonight I've finished one of two. This card features Brenda Walton for K & Co Brookfield paper, paper flower from Bazzill, butterfly from Tattered Angels, ribbon is from Michaels, and Stamp is Close To My Heart. I hope the card brings a small measure of comfort.
